Sand Rail Buggy Frames FASCINATION ... THE DISCOVERY OF THE NEW WORLD IN A WORK OF LOPE DE VEGA.

The fascination always feel for the history of the discovery of America and the encounter-clash between the two "worlds" has become, at the time of writing the thesis of my degree, the desire to write a paper on this subject reading from one of the most important works of American theater type:
"The New World discovered by Christopher Columbus."
In this comedy by Lope de Vega, dedicated to the hardships and humiliations that Columbus was to get funding for your project, the author discusses and illustrates the history of discovery and its consequences, develops the issue of confrontation between two worlds - that of faith and paganism - and, especially, introduced as the seeds of a criticaland the first to denounce the conduct of the English conquerors to reach the new world, analyzing the dual nature of the conquest, in this comedy, first defending the evangelical character of the discovery, on the other side shows the "guilty" directing criticism, though veiled, certain aspects of English imperialism and greed and lust.
This ambivalent and ambiguous attitude becomes comedy in a complex and contradictory.
Most of my work is centered around the image of the "other" seen through the eyes of the conquerors. Start treating it as Spain looked to America and developed the theme of diversity. The "other" represented by the natives of the newly discovered land, they are considered b
